Keeping children safe
How Cic Cymru Academy keeps your child safe at every session. Last updated [date].
Our promise
Every child has the right to be safe and to enjoy football. We put each child’s welfare first, treat every family with respect, and act on any concern straight away.
How we keep children safe
- Every coach has an Enhanced DBS check before working with children.
- Coaches are trained in safeguarding and first aid.
- A parent or carer stays at every session, and we never leave a coach alone with a child.
- Sessions have up to 16 children and two coaches, and children go home only with the parent or carer who brought them.
- We only take photos or video with a parent’s written permission.
- We only keep your child’s health information if you say yes.
- We ask parents not to photograph or film other people’s children. Please read ourparent and carer rules.
